What types of books can I donate?

We accept a wide range of books, including fiction, non-fiction, educational (Class 5th to 12th) and reference books. Please ensure that the books are in good condition—clean, with no missing pages or significant damage. We especially appreciate donations of children's books, educational materials, and books that promote diversity and inclusion.

Are there any books you do not accept?

We do not accept textbooks older than 5 years, encyclopedias, magazines, or books with significant damage, mold, or missing pages. Additionally, we ask that you do not donate books with content that is discriminatory or inappropriate.

How can I donate my books?

You can donate books by bringing them to our drop-off locations or courier to our location. For larger donations or if you are unsure about the drop-off locations, please contact us at foundationdopamine@gmail.com or contact us.

What happens to the books after I donate them?

Donated books are sorted and categorized by the team. They are then given to children who are suffering with cancer and cannot go to school to study or those who can’t access such variety of books. We also organize literacy programs and reading initiatives where appropriate.

Can I volunteer to help with book donations?

Absolutely! We welcome volunteers to help with collecting books for children who wants to study, but cannot, due to their disease. If you are interested in volunteering, please visit our volunteer page, or contact us for more information.

How do I know if my donation has made an impact?

We regularly update our supporters with reports and stories showcasing how donated books have positively impacted communities. You can follow our website or social media channels to stay informed about the difference your donation makes.

What if I have other items I want to donate?
